Women's Health Focus Group
Join us at our Women's Health Focus Group from 1pm to 2pm at Frome Town Hall, where we hope to learn more about what women need from Frome Medical Practice.
From menstrual health to menopause, fertility to breast health, from website resources to support group sessions, let us know what you need and your input will help us build better services.
Patient Participation Group Meeting
Starting at 6pm and taking place both face to face at the practice and online, the Patient Participation Group meeting is an opportunity for patients to work with the team at the practice and ensure the patient voice is heard.
Pain Cafe
Friday 29th November
Patients are welcome to come along to the pain cafe, a peer support group for anyone living with chronic pain. This is a chance to join up with others in a safe environment, to talk and share experiences. The pain cafe takes place every last Friday of the month from 11:30am to 1pm in the Education Room (upstairs) at Frome Medical Practice.
Long Term Conditions Support Group
Thursday 5th December
The Long Term Conditions support group is an opportunity to meet with other people who live with a long term condition. This is a safe environment in which to talk and share experiences. The group meets on the 1 st Thursday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Boardroom (Upstairs) at Frome Medical Practice.
Community Connector Training
Anyone can be a community connector, signposting friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to support groups, services, opportunities and resources that might help improve their health and wellbeing.

Normalising End of Life Planning Free Session
Join us for this free 1.5-hour long session where we look at how we can plan for our future care and end-of-life needs.
The session will be led by Dr Helen Kingston and Julia di Castiglione and will take place from 3pm to 4:30pm at the practice.

COPD Support Group
The COPD Support Group takes place on the second Thursday of the month from 10.30am to 12.00pm in the Education Room at the practice. Aimed at patients with various lung conditions, for example chronic bronchitis and emphysema. No need to book, just come along, but please call the Health Connections team on 01373 468368 if you’d like more information.
