Claire Rogers
Carer's Champion
My name is Claire Rogers, I am a Neighbourhood Community Co-ordinator in the Complex Care team and I am also the Carers Champion at the Frome Medical Practice.
I have worked at the practice for over 6 years and moved into the HUB team, taking over the role of Carers Champion in October 2019, after several years in the care navigator team.
My role is to manage our register of unpaid carers, provide information and signpost to the many brilliant support services available.
It is big responsibility to take on a caring role for a friend or family member and I really enjoy being able to provide the information I do for carers who didn’t previously know what was available to them.
What do you enjoy about working at Frome Medical Practice?
I enjoy working alongside hard working staff, who strive for such high standards of patient care.
What do you love doing when you are not at work?
I love long walks with my family and puppy.
